I found Uncharted had a larger initial load into the game, but beyond that I didn't think it really had any. If it did it hid it extremely well.
I'm currently playing and really enjoying Fallout Vegas... now that has some loading times!
We use it at work for motion capture straight to Max. It's an excellent bit of kit regardless of the games available.

I think cancelling the disaster 4 game is a fair decision given the circumstances. Right now concentration should be on aid and the rebuilding of what has been lost. A few games being cancelled is a non-issue.
If those screenshots are true to it, the PS3 definitely has the edge. I would hope some of those xbox shots were suffering from unloaded textures though, as some parts are fuck awful!
The game looks amazing, I am hoping there are a few improvements to the boss fights of previous ones though... If there are I shall play until my eyes drop out my skull!
Agreed, there are a few gems that have great art style. XBLA and PSN network seem, to have the lions share but I think a few major titles will start to go that way.

I pay for it because it isn't free on Xbox, and if I don't pay I can't play. It's not fucking rocket science, if I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't pay for it.
I have a Playstation and a PC but neither have the games I am most addicted to... so are a moot point.

I am happy paying for live have done for 6 years. It's affordable and I spend many hours playing games online. When I decide it's no longer worth it, I will simply stop paying for it... shocking eh?

I have the game on both platforms (sad I know...) And must say I see no difference.
I own both, but lean more towards my 360 - regardless I won't be missing out on Resistance 3, Uncharted 3 or Twisted Metal!
They did dump the last xbox, but I wouldn't give a shit. If a new one is released I'll buy it... like I have done since the ZX spectrum. Then the old one will gather dust until it is deposited into the attic of my house to be forgotten.
Then I'll log onto a mediocre news site full of losers and nerds and argue how my new xbox is better than the other hypothetical consoles of the future.

I've just recently got myself a little beast of a PC, I just can't bring myself to play games on it... It just feels too nerdy hunched over with mouse in hand. I will one day break those shackles and give it a go though :D
